Coptic binding is an ancient method of exposed binding. Simple, yet striking, with visible stitching. Not only does the exposed spine give it a beautiful finish, but this binding style allows the book to lay completely flat when open, making it ideal for artists.

Coptic Stitch binding is an ancient method of exposed binding. Simple, yet striking, with visible stitching. This method of binding enables the book to lay completely flat when writing or drawing.
The book is cut, folded, glued and stitched entirely by hand.
